Redmi unveiled the Redmi 13C entry-level smartphone on the global market recently. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch in India on December 6th, 2023. The device will replace the Redmi 12C, which was announced earlier this year in multiple markets. Here is a look at the expected specifications, features, and price of the device.

The Redmi 13C available in the global market features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop-notch design. It offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a peak brightness of 600 nits, DC dimming, and an up to 90Hz refresh rate. For security, it offers features like AI face unlock and a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Redmi 13C has the Helio G85 chipset. It is available with 4GB / 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB / 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via a USB Type-C port.

The Redmi 13C has a 50-megapixel main camera on the back. It is coupled with a 2-megapixel macro camera and an auxiliary camera. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The 13C runs on the MIUI 14-based Android 13. In India, the device is expected to cost under Rs 10,000 (~$120), and it will be sold only in black and green shades.
