Redmi 13C series of entry-level smartphones has launched globally. The lineup comprises two models: the Redmi 13C and the Redmi 13C 5G. The latter is the company’s most affordable 5G smartphone. Some of the key highlights of the lineup include a 90Hz display, a big battery with fast charging support, and a 50-megapixel primary camera. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and prices of both devices.

The Redmi 13C and 13C feature a waterdrop-notch display that measures 6.74 inches diagonally. The IPS LCD panel offers up to a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 450 nits of peak brightness. Both phones are equipped with 4GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256G of storage. While both devices have LPDDR4x RAM, the 13C has eMMC 5.1 storage and its 5G sibling has USB 2.2 storage.

The Redmi 13C has the Helio G85 chipset, whereas the Redmi 13C 5G will be equipped with the Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support via a USB-C port. The 13C series runs on MUI 14-based Android 13.

The Redmi 13C has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) dual-camera system on the back. The 5G variant has a 5-megapixel selfie snapper and a 50-megapixel + AI camera dual-camera setup. Both phones have a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The 13C series has other features, such as dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB-C port.

The Redmi 13C comes in three variants, such as 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. These variants are priced at Rs 8,999 (~$108), Rs 9,999 (~$119), and Rs 11,499 (~$137), respectively. It comes in three colors, such as Stardust Black and Starshine Green.

The Redmi 13C 5G also comes in three of the same configurations as the 4G version. Its variants are priced at Rs 10,999 (~$131), Rs 12,499 (~$161), and Rs 14,499 (~$173), respectively. The 13C 5G’s color options include Startrail Black, Startrail Silver, and Startrail Green.

While the 13C is scheduled to go on sale on December 12th, the 13C 5G is set to go on sale on December 16th. Both devices can be purchased through Amazon India, Mi.com, and retail stores.
