The Echo miniseries is an American television show developed by Marion Dayre for Disney+ based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. This will be the tenth TV series created by Marvel Studios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films and a spin-off of Hawkeye (2021).
It was announced in December 2020 that Alaqua Cox would play Marvel Comics character Maya Lopez / Echo in Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Hawkeye (2021). By March 2021, Marvel Studios was developing a Hawkeye spin-off starring Cox’s Lopez for Disney+, with Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen writing and executive producing. In November 2021, Disney+ Day announced the series as Echo, with Marion Dayre as head writer instead of the Cohens.
Echo Release Date

The events of Hawkeye (2021) in New York City led Wilson Fisk’s organization to pursue Maya Lopez, forcing her back to Oklahoma, where she must confront her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace her community and family.
