Redmi Note 13 series key details confirmed before January 4 launch

Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ in the Chinese market in September of this year. The brand recently confirmed India will be the first market outside of China to receive the Note 13 lineup. All three smartphones are set to go official on January 4th, 2024, in India. Ahead of the launch, the company is gradually confirming the key details of the Note 13 series through its landing pages, which are available on Flipkart and Amazon.

It appears that the Redmi Note 13 5G will be sold via Amazon, whereas both the Pro variants could be available through Flipkart. Rumours surrounding the Indian variants of the Note 13 models claim that they are likely to be identical to their Chinese counterparts. Here is a look at their expected specifications.

The Redmi Note 13 series has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. While the standard model has a flat screen and a side-facing fingerprint scanner, the Pro variants have a curved-edge OLED panel that is integrated with a fingerprint sensor. The Note 13 series runs on MIUI 14-based Android 13.

The Redmi Note 13 5G has the Dimensity 6080 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The Note 13 Pro 5G has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip and a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging, whereas the Pro+ variant ships with the Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W rapid charging.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ India launch date

The Note 13 5G series is equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The standard model has a 108-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Pro and Pro+ variants have a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

In China, the entire series is available with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The three phones have respective starting prices of RMB 1,199 (~$170), RMB 1,499 (~$210), and RMB 1,999 (~$280) in the home market.
