A recent Weibo post by tipster DCS, which has been deleted, revealed that the X7 lineup will not include the Find X7 Pro model. The revised lineup is said to have the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra. There will be a third model, dubbed the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version. As the monikers suggest, the X7 Ultra and its satellite version are expected to pack the same specs and design. However, the satellite variant will be OPPO’s first smartphone to arrive with support for two-way satellite communication. Here is a look at the specifications of the Find X7 series.

The Find X7 will arrive with a 6.78-inch curved-OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution of 2,780 x 1,260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that offers 100W charging support.

The Find X7 is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front camera. Its rear camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide snapper, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

On the other hand, the Find X7 Ultra will have a 6.82-inch OLED display that produces a 2K resolution of 3,168 x 1,440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the X7 Ultra will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

The rear camera setup of the Find X7 Ultra will feature the one-inch LYT-900 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. A 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 periscope telephoto lens with 6x optical zoom will all join it. It will also feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Find X7 series is expected to come with other features, such as up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, ColorOS 14-based Android 14, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and an IP64-rated (Find X7) / IP68-certified (Find X7 Ultra) chassis.

OPPO Find X7 series launch timeframe (rumored)

Uncertainty looms over the global launch of the Find X7 series, as the previous Find X6 and X6 Pro were exclusively launched in China. Hence, it is uncertain whether the Find X7 and X7 Ultra will be released in the global market. As far as the China launch is concerned, the brand is rumored to announce it between January 8th and January 10th, 2024, in the coming year.
