The Galaxy S23 series was announced on February 1st, 2023. Reports surrounding the Galaxy S24 series have claimed that it will debut earlier this year, probably on January 17th, 2024, with sales starting on January 30th in different markets. Around a month before the expected announcement, the publication Winfuture.de has published a report to reveal the leaked official renders of the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In addition, a leak by prominent leaker Evan Blass has revised the key specifications of the Galaxy S24 trio.

The leaked renders of the Galaxy S24 series that its design does not deviate too much from the S23 series. The S24 Ultra, in particular, now features a flat display, instead of a curved-edge screen that was seen on the predecessor models. All three phones have a boxy design, and they are equipped with an IP68-rated body featuring an aluminium frame.

The specs sheet leak reveals that the Galaxy S24 series is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, this information could be applicable only for certain regions of the US, China, and South Korea. Reports have claimed that the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus will arrive with the Exynos 2400 chipset in some markets, including Europe. However, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in all markets.

As far as display size is concerned, the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra will have a 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.8-inch Dynamic 2X AMOLED display with support for 2,600 nits of maximum brightness. While the S24 will produce a Full HD+ resolution, the Plus and Ultra variants will offer a Quad HD+ resolution.

The Galaxy S24 is expected to feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. It will pack a 4,000mAh battery, which can achieve 50 percent charge in 30 minutes.

The S24 Plus and the S24 Ultra will arrive with 12GB of RAM and 256GB / 512GB of storage. The Plus model will have a 4,900mAh battery, whereas the Ultra variant will pack a 5,000mAh battery. Both devices can be juiced up to 65 percent power by charging for 30 minutes. It appears that the S24 and S24+ will offer 25W fast charging, whereas the S24 Ultra will support 45W rapid charging. All three phones are expected to offer wireless charging.

The rear camera setup of the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a telephoto camera that supports up to 3x optical zoom. Both phones will also support up to 30x Space (digital) zoom and up to 8K video recording. The S24 Ultra, on the other hand, will have a 200-megapixel primary camera and offer up to 10x optical zoom, 100x Space zoom, and up to 8K video recording. The Ultra model will feature a built-in S-Pen stylus.
