The streamer released the trailer of The Bequeathed on YouTube on January 4, 2024. With its unsettling, terrifying vibe, the two-minute and three-second trailer immediately grabs attention and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The Bequeathed Development and Production
Park Hee-soon, Park Byung-eun, Kim Hyun-joo, and Ryu Kyung-soo were cast in the Netflix series The Bequeathed in October 2022. It was also reported that Wow Point, a global content production enterprise, and RedPeter Films, a film firm known for creating high-quality movies, will collaborate to produce the series, with Yeon Sang-ho of Hellbound and Train to Busan fame onboard as the creator and writer. Some of RedPeter Films’ notable works include Peninsula, Birthday, Another Child, Psychokinesis, and Train to Busan. It was revealed in December 2023 that filmmaker Min Hong-Nam, who worked with Yeon Sang-ho on the movie Train to Busan, would make his directing debut with this series. Yeon, Min, and Hwang Eun-young co-wrote the screenplay for the project.
