The device is already available in Nigeria, and now the same device is all set to launch on January 13th, 2024, in India. Here is a look at all that is known about the smartphone.

The Infinix Smart 8’s landing page is now available on Flipkart. The listing reveals that the device will be priced under Rs 7,000 in India. India may likely receive the same Smart 8 handset that recently debuted in the Nigerian market.

The teased price of the Infinix Smart 8 indicated as “Rs. 6,XXX” on the landing page suggests that it will be priced below Rs. 7,000. The phone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that produces an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

There is no confirmation about the processor that powers the Smart 8. However, it could likely be equipped with a Unisoc T606 SoC, which powers its Nigerian edition. The device will offer 8GB of RAM, comprising 4GB of physical RAM and an additional 4GB of virtual RAM. When it comes to storage, the Smart 8 will offer 64GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot.

The Infinix Smart 8 will come with support for the Magic Ring feature, which will show notifications surrounding the hole-punch cutout at the top of the display, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. It will house a 5,000mAh battery that may support 10W charging.

Apart from face unlock, the Infini Smart 8 will feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
