Media developments confirm that Ajay Devgn will star in the remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash. The project’s title was recently revealed to be Shaitaan and is scheduled to be released theatrically on March 8, 2024. Vikas Bahl is the director of the adaptation. R. Actor Ravi Teja marked the film’s beginning by giving the mahurat clap shot, making it official. The biographical sports drama entertainer Maidaan follows the life and journey of Syed Abdul Rahim, a renowned football coach who transformed the game in India from 1952 to 1962. Rahim became a legend in Indian sports history because of his tenacity, initiative, and vision. It documents Rahim’s struggles, sacrifices, and victories, those of the Indian football team, as they work to transcend social barriers and make their marks on the world arena. Ajay Devgan essays the character of Syed Abdul Rahim alias Rahim Saab. A. R. Rahman composed the music for the film.
It was scheduled to be released theatrically on June 23, 2023; however, it was postponed, and an updated release date has yet to be announced. The current release date status of Maidaan is delayed.
