On Wednesday, Samsung will announce the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones globally. Multiple leaks have revealed that the brand will announce three models, such as the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The other major announcement of the event will be the arrival of Samsung’s Galaxy AI technology. The latest leak reveals that the S24 series may get the longest-ever software support in the history of Samsung phones. At the same time, another leak has leaked the live shots of the S24 Ultra.

According to a report by Android Headlines, the Galaxy S24 series will receive up to seven years of software support. However, the report does not clarify whether it is applicable only for the security updates or both Android OS upgrades as well as security patches. This doubt is expected to be cleared through the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.

An X user has shared live shots of what looks like the golden or yellow variant of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The device can be seen sporting a flat display and a same-colored middle frame, which seems to be made from titanium material. The back panel of the device has a quad-camera setup and an LED flash on the back.

As per reports, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch Samsung Dynamic AMOLED 2x Quad HD+ display with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to run on OneUI 6.1-based Android 14 and carry support for the S Pen stylus.

On the front, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera system of the device will have a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy in all markets. The device is expected to ship with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB / 512GB / 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support. The three storage variants of the S24 Ultra are likely to be priced at €1,449 (~$1,590), €1,569 (~$1,718), and €1,809 (~$1,981), respectively, in Europe. It is expected to come in shades such as Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Yellow.
