Now, the brand has announced the Smart 8 with slightly better specs in the country. Some of the major highlights of the device include an attractive design with a timber-textured finish, a punch-hole display, ample amounts of RAM and storage, and a large battery. The Infinix Smart 8 features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits of brightness. The device comes preinstalled with Android 13, which is overlaid with the XOS 13 UI on top. For security, the Smart 8 features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Smart 8 is fitted with an 8-megapixel camera along with an LED flash for selfies and video calls. On the back, the device features a 50-megapixel primary camera, an AI lens, and a quad-LED flash unit.

The MediaTek Helio G36 chipset powers the Infinix Smart 8. It ships with 4GB of RAM, 4GB of virtual memory, 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging via USB-C port. The device comes with other features, such as dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Infinix Smart 8 is priced at Rs 7,499 in India. With the 10 percent discount available for ICICI bank credit and debit card users, the device can be bought for Rs 6,749. It can be purchased through Flipkart in shades such as Timber Black, Galaxy White, Shiny Gold, and Rainbow Blue.
