Moto G24 specifications, renders leaked; launch imminent

Motorola has recently launched the Moto G34 5G smartphone in different markets, including India. Reports have claimed that the brand has a couple of new G-series phones, such as the Moto G24, G24 Power, and G04, in the works. While the G04 is said to be an entry-level offering, the G24 and S24 Power could be similar phones, with the latter offering a larger battery. It appears that it may not take too long for the G24 to go official, as a new report has revealed its renders and key specifications. Here is a look at what to expect from the successor of the Moto G23, which was unveiled in January 2024.

In the above image, the Moto G24 can be seen flaunting a punch-hole display and a dual-camera system on the back. It will feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security and will come in three shades, such as black, gold, and pink.

As per the report, the Moto G24 will arrive with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution and a 90hz refresh rate. It will feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back.

The G24 will be a 4G LTE device powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The device will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging.

Moto G24 price

The report states that the Moto G24 will have a starting price of €169 (~Rs 15,300). At present, there is no information on the launch date of the device. Since the G23 was announced in January last year, it appears that the G24 may go official at some point this month.

In related news, the Moto G24 Power is expected to pack a larger battery than the G24. At present, it is unclear what other differing features will be available on the Power variant.
