Google Pixel 9 CAD renders have been revealed by 91mobiles in collaboration with tipster OnLeaks. The images come hot on the heels of the Pixel 9 Pro renders released earlier this week. As expected, the Pixel 9 shares a similar design language to its Pro counterpart.
Both the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro, as depicted in the renders, suggest that their designs will be just improvised versions of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, which were unveiled in October 2023. These early leaks, emerging several months before the anticipated October launch, offer a very early glimpse at what Google has in store for its next-generation flagships.
Google Pixel 9 design
The CAD renders of the Pixel 9 show that it has a punch-hole screen on the front, which features rounded corners. According to the publication, the device could be equipped with a 6.1-inch screen and measure 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm.
The Pixel 9 sports flat edges without the topside featuring only a microphone, and its opposite end is populated with a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille. The left edge of the phone is also barren, whereas the right edge has a power button and a volume rocker.
The back panel of the Google Pixel 9 has a horizontal camera bar with rounded corners. It is fitted with three cameras, an LED flash, and a third sensor. It means that the Pixel 9 could be the first non-Pro Pixel phone to feature a triple camera system as the preceding models have featured a dual-camera system. At present, there is no information available about the camera configurations of the Pixel 9.
It is too early to talk about the specifications of the Google Pixel 9. However, the device will likely have the next-generation Tensor G4 chip onboard. In addition, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro could be the first Google phones to ship with the Pixel-exclusive AI assistant named Pixie.
