In October 2023, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro in China. The Ultra model is expected to be available for purchase in the country in March. The other proof that suggests that the Ultra model will launch on February 25 is the URL of the Xiaomi 14 series’ teaser. The URL has “N1N3” mentioned in it, which are said to be internal model numbers of the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro has the “N2” internal model number, but it is not mentioned in the URL. Hence, GSMChina, which highlighted this fact, claimed that the 14 Pro may not launch globally. Hence, it appears that the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra will launch in markets outside of China. However, there is still no clarity as to whether the Ultra model will be released in India.

According to reports, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a 2K AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will run on HyperOS-based Android 14. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The 14 Ultra will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a quad-camera setup on the back, featuring an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary camera with support for variable aperture. The IP68-rated device is likely to pack a 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The device offers other features, such as HyperOS-based Android 14, dual speakers, and an IR blaster. There is no information about the Xiaomi 14’s price in India. In China, the device was introduced with a starting price of RMB 3,999 (~Rs 46,650).
