Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro India launch date has been officially revealed. The brand will hold a launch event at 12 pm on March 7th, 2024, to unveil the Vivo V30 series of smartphones in the country.

The Vivo V30 and V30 Pro series will succeed the Vivo V29 5G and V29 Pro 5G, which were announced last year.  The landing pages of the Vivo V30 series are now live on Flipkart and Vivo India’s website. The official pages reveal that the Vivo V30 series will have a curved-edge AMOLED panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, the lineup has a square-shaped Aura Light LED module, which comes with support colour temperature adjustment. The brand has also confirmed that the V30 will arrive in Andaman Blue, Peacock Green, and Classic Black colour editions.

Vivo V30 specifications

While the Vivo V30 has already launched in other markets. Hence, all its specifications and features are already known. The device has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a curved-edge design. It offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to arrive as India’s first Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset-powered smartphone. The device will likely arrive in variants, such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage in India.

The V30 has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus support. The device has a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The Vivo V30 Pro is expected to feature the same display, battery, and charging capabilities as the standard version. Under the hood, the device has the Dimensity 8200 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It has the same front camera as the V30. The Pro model is expected to arrive with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Both smartphones are expected to ship with FunTouch OS 14-based Android 14.
