Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 CAD renders merge to reveal design changes

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 CAD renders have been released by SmartPrix in collaboration with reliable leaker OnLeaks. The South Korean tech giant is expected to hold a mega launch event in July this year to announce multiple products, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the Galaxy Ring, and the Galaxy XR. The leaked renders emerged months before the official launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 to showcase its design.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 CAD renders show that it will offer some design changes as compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 from last year. Here is the first look at Samsung’s next-generation foldable phone.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6’s renders that it is equipped with flat edges, but the overall design is not too different from the Galaxy Z Fold 5. On the inside, it features a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED display with an in-screen camera and a 6.2-inch cover display on the outside.

The top edge of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a speaker and a pair of microphones, whereas its bottom is equipped with a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker. The back panel of the device has a protruding triple camera unit with an LED flash. It does not feature a slot for storing the S Pen stylus.

In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to measure 153.5 x 132.9 x 6.1mm. This means that it will be shorter and wider than the Z Fold 5, which measures 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.1mm. However, there is no change in the internal and external display sizes as compared to the predecessor.

As per recent reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.  It is expected to house a 4,600mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It is likely to arrive in three shades and is also said to have a titanium frame. The Z Fold 6i is also expected to offer an improved photography experience, but the details have not appeared yet.
