Xiaomi’s HyperOS’ launch timeframe has been officially confirmed. The brand confirmed it will soon be releasing the new software in India, but it did not reveal a specific date. Today, it was confirmed that the HyperOS will be unveiled at 12 pm on February 29th, 2024, in India.

The upcoming Xiaomi 14 will come preloaded with HyperOS. To recall, the Poco X6 Pro 5G, which debuted in January in India, is the first-ever smartphone to offer the HyperOS out-of-the-box experience. Xiaomi previously confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6 will be the first devices to get the HyperOS upgrade. To recall, these devices came equipped with the MIUI 14-based Android 13. Apart from announcing the HyperOS for India tomorrow, the company is also expected to confirm its release schedule.

At the MWC 2024 tech event, Xiaomi already confirmed the release timeframe of the HyperOS for the global market. It revealed that the Xiaomi 13 series, 13T series, 13 series, 12T series, Redmi Note 13 series, Note 12 Pro+ 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 5G, Xiaomi Pad 6, Redmi Pad SE, and Smart Band 8 Pro will receive the HyperOS update.

In related news, Xiaomi is set to unveil the Xiaomi 14 on March 7th, 2024, in India. While the 14 Pro won’t be available in the country, there’s speculation that the 14 Ultra will be released. However, indications suggest it might not debut alongside the Xiaomi 14. Instead, the company may opt for a dedicated launch event for the 14 Ultra a few weeks later.
