The MIUI 14 now consumes less memory, resulting in a more quick and responsive UI. The update also brings more personalization tools, such as Super Icons, which will give a new look to the Home screen. However, to experience the latest Super Icons, users must update their Home screen and Themes to the latest version. It also brings the new Home screen folder highlight feature, highlighting the frequently used apps.

The MIUI 14 update also includes a more advanced search in Settings. It comes with a search history and results categories, which simplifies things.

The update comes with the V14.0.1.0.TKTINXM build number. According to XiaomiUI, it is only available for ‘Mi Pilot Testers’ at the moment. The company is expected to release the update to a limited number of public users as a ‘Stable Beta’ in the coming days. Later it will be gradually rolled out to other users in the subsequent weeks.
