Presented as a Malayalam and Tamil bilingual drama, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam has been directed by the eminent Lijo Jose Pellissery. The writing has been done by S. Hareesh based on the story penned by Pellissery, who has also served as a co-producer of the film.

Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam stars popular names like Mammootty, Ramya Suvi, Ramya Pandian and Ashokan.The cinematography has been managed by Theni Eswar and the editing has been done by Deepu S. He behaves, speaks and talks in their manner confusing everyone who travelled with him and the people in the village. What follows in the drama are events where “the past comes back to confront a man who was leading a double life” and the challenges to find the truth becomes the crux of the film.
