Pixel 7A has leaked, and the phone details have been revealed in the leak. The phone is set to launch at the Google I/O event in May. 

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were launched in October 2022, and this will be a Lite version of Pixel 7. The leaked specifications let us peek at the device, and the images match the previously leaked CAD renders of the device. 

This leak comes from @gadgetsdata, who has posted a hands-on of the device. Let’s look at the leak first :

Pixel 7A comes with a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. 

Coming to the design, the phone comes with a similar design language as that of the rest of the Pixel 7 series phones. We can see the same camera bar, which looks similar to Pixel 7. 

Like Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, 7A has Google’s Tensor G2 SoC. It is almost a flagship chipset, but realistically it cannot be compared against top-of-the-line Snapdragon chipsets in terms of performance. But it still performed well in Pixel 7 series. Tensor G2 comes with TPU (Tensor Processing Unit), which handles machine learning tasks, from real-time translations to image and video processing. 

The phone will come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. 

Google Pixel 7A has a dual camera setup of 64MP Sony IMX787 and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. We can expect the same 10.8MP selfie camera from Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro on the front. 

On the leak, it was also mentioned that the phone would come with 5W wireless charging and Android 13 out of the box. 

We don’t have any info on the rest of the features or specifications of the device. We can expect the phone to be priced better than Pixel 6A at launch in India. Google missed its mark by a heavy margin with the Pixel 6A launch, it was launched at Rs 43,999, but it was cut short to below Rs 30,000 shortly after. Pixel 7 series was priced appropriately in the Indian market compared to the global market, with a starting price of Rs 59,999. We can expect Pixel 7A to be priced below Rs 40,000 in India.
