Lava Blaze 2 design revealed, key specifications tipped

Lava Blaze 2 is likely to launch soon in India. It will be arriving as a successor to the original Lava Blaze handset, which debuted in July last year. Ahead of the expected launch, a live shot of the handset has appeared online, giving a look at its rear design.

Last year, Lava launched a couple of Blaze-branded smartphones, such as the Lava Blaze, Blaze Pro, Blaze 5G, and Blaze NXT. It appears that the company may have planned to launch successor editions of these phones in 2023. Like the original model, the Blaze 2 is expected to carry a very affordable price tag.

The leaked image of the Lava Blaze 2 suggests that it could be equipped with a glass back. The device can be seen sporting a dual-camera setup and an LED flash. A volume rocker and a power key, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner, can be seen on the right edge of the device.

As per a tweet released by tipster Mukul Sharma, the Lava Blaze 2 will come equipped with the Unisoc T616 chipset. This indicates that it will be a 4G LTE device. The same chipset has been previously seen on the Realme C35 and Infinix Hot 12 Pro.

The Lava Blaze was priced at Rs 9,699. It is speculated that the Blaze will be priced under Rs 10,000.

In related news, Lava is also said to be working on Lava AGNI 2. It is expected to come with specifications such as a 90Hz LCD panel, a Dimensity 1080 chipset, 8GB of RAM, Android 13 OS, a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, 50-megapixel triple rear cameras, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The AGNI 2 will be priced between Rs 22,000 and Rs 25,000.
