iQOO Z7x 5G spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification, April launch likely

iQOO Z7x 5G has been approved by the Bluetooth SIG authority. To recall, iQOO announced the iQOO Z7 5G and iQOO Z7x 5G smartphones earlier this month in China. Our exclusive report that surfaced soon after the launch revealed that the Z7x will debut in India by mid-April.

The Z7x available in the Chinese market has the model number V2272A. Our report revealed that its Indian / global variant has the model number I2216. Now, the I2216 device has appeared in the database of Bluetooth SIG authority. The listing confirms that it has the “iQOO Z7x 5G” marketing name in the global market.

The Bluetooth SIG listing reveals that the iQOO Z7x 5G will offer Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. However, it does not say anything about the other specs of the device. As per our previous report, the iQOO Z7x 5G headed to India will have the same specifications as its Chinese variant. However, the Indian model is likely to offer slower charging capabilities as compared to the Chinese Z7x.

Devices are known to go official around a month after they appear in the Bluetooth SIG’s database. Now that the Z7x is Bluetooth SIG approved, it may go official at some point in April in India.

The iQOO Z7x 5G will arrive with a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2,388 x 1,080 pixels, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and come preloaded with Android 13 OS with the FunTouch OS 13 UI on top.

The Z7x will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. The device will ship with 8GB of RAM, 256GB storage, and a 6,000mAh battery. The Chinese edition of the device supports 80W fast charging. At present, there is no word on the fat charging capabilities of the Indian variant. It will arrive with an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera setup.

iQOO Z7x 5G price in India (rumoured)

The iQOO Z7x 5G will be priced between Rs 14,000 and Rs 16,000 in India. It may arrive in up to three colours.
