Vivo X Fold 2 with 120W Fast Charging to Launch in China Later This Month: Expected Price, Specification, Launch

Later this month, the China-only Vivo X Fold 2 is scheduled to go on sale. The foldable phone has already been confirmed by the company, but the launch date is yet to be revealed. The design of the X Fold 2 has been teased by Vivo, showing the phone in its red colour option. Compared to the outgoing model, the X Fold+, the X Fold 2 has received some minor design changes on the outside.

A new report has now revealed the battery and fast charging details of the Vivo X Fold 2. The foldable phone will pack a 4800mAh battery and will also get upgraded 120W fast charging support. The battery capacity is slightly bigger than the X Fold+, and the fast charging support is a significant upgrade.

Specs of the Vivo X Fold 2: What is Known So Far

The Vivo X Fold 2 will be a premium foldable smartphone with a triple-camera setup on the back. Zeiss and the camera setup have worked together to fine-tune it. A 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera with OIS capability, a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12MP IMX663 telephoto camera will all be available on the X Fold 2. According to certain rumours, the X Fold 2’s camera stack will include three 50MP sensors on the rear rather than the current configuration of 50MP + 12MP + 12MP sensors. The X Fold 2 will also feature a dedicated Vivo V2 ISP for enhancing the camera performance.

The device will sport an 8-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset will power the X Fold 2, which is expected to debut in China with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The foldable phone will also get an in-display fingerprint scanner on the cover display.
