Makers took to several platforms to announce the team of the new series Disney+ Hotstar original Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo. The show stars Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar and Isha Talwar in the lead roles and is directed by Homi Adajania. The series is produced by Maddock Films and also stars Ashish Verma, Varun Mitra, Udit Arora, Deepak Dobriyal, and Monica Dogra.

Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo: Premise

The show is being billed as the “dawn of saas bahu 2.0” version, and according to the synopsis, it follows “a mother-in-law who is unapologetically hardcore and daughters-in-law who are steadfast and formidable.” The women are described as “bad***, powerful, and even ruthless by choice.” The show is expected to challenge traditional portrayals of saas-bahu relationships and introduce viewers to a new level of drama and power play.

Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo is a ‘roller-coaster’ ride and the characters are “beautifully complex and conflicting, navigating their way through a world of passion, manipulation and chaos,” said Homi Adajania, who serves as a creator of the series.
