ASUS ROG Phone 7 gaming-focused smartphone will launch in various markets across the globe on April 13th, 2023. Reports have revealed that the ROG Phone 7 with model number AI2205_A is the standard version of the phone and will be available worldwide.

For the Chinese market, ASUS will be releasing two versions of the ROG Phone 7 with model numbers: AI2205_B and AI2205_D. The former is the standard version of the phone, while the latter, known as the ROG Phone 7D, will be tailored specifically for the Chinese market. The ROG Phone 7 with model number AI2205_C will be released in India. The Taiwanese brand will also be launching two high-end versions of the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate with model numbers AI2205_E and AI2205_F for the global and Chinese markets, respectively. As can be seen below, the AI2205_C has been certified by the NBTC authority.

The NBTC certification of the AI2025_C variant reveals that it will be dubbed the ROG Phone 7 in Thailand. Apart from confirming the marketing name and the model number, the listing has no information on its specifications. The ROG Phone 7 is likely to arrive with a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED FHD+ screen that offers a refresh rate of 165Hz. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The SoC will be accompanied by up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It may house a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The device will run on a ROG UI-based Android 13 OS. It will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and its rear camera setup will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro/depth sensor.
