POCO F5 Pro launch seems imminent since it has been reportedly certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Last month, the POCO F5 was seen in the FCC’s database with some of its key specifications. The FCC certification has not revealed anything significant on the specifications of the POCO F5 Pro. However, it does carry an image of the phone, which confirms a very important thing about it.

Reports have revealed that the POCO F5 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which debuted in China as the first-ever Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2-powered device. Reports have said that the F5 Pro will be a rebranded edition of the Redmi K60, which was announced in December 2022.

The above image that has reportedly surfaced in the FCC’s database shows that it has a vertically aligned triple camera unit along with a triple LED flash. Its right side features a volume rocker and a power key. The design of the phone resembles that of the Redmi K60.

POCO F5 Pro specifications (rumoured)

The POCO F5 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel that offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. It will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. It will run on MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS.

The F5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It will arrive with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There is a possibility that the highest variant of the F5 Pro may offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will house a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging support.

We could not find the FCC listing for the POCO F5 Pro at the time of writing this post. Hence, it appears that the above image may have appeared through some kind of internal listing of the phone at the FCC.
