Highlights
  • The manufacturer is on course to launch the Xiaomi 13 Ultra this month
  • This follows the recent Indian release of the Xiaomi 13 Pro in India
  • There’s currently no clarity on the precise launch date and the specs of the Xiaomi 13T Pro

The Xiaomi 13 Pro made its way to India not too long ago, while the company is also expected to release the Xiaomi 13 Ultra later this month. There’s another phone we can add to the growing number of Xiaomi 13 series of phones, this time in the form of the Xiaomi 13T Pro.

XiaomiUI has managed to unearth the Xiaomi 13T Pro from the IMEI database, along with its China-bound variant, the Redmi K60 Ultra, bearing the model numbers 23078PND5G and 23078RKD5C.

It is speculated that the mention of “2307” in both model numbers could be a subtle hint of the device’s launch date, i.e. 27th of July. However, this cannot be verified at the moment. This is pretty much everything we know about the Xiaomi 13T Pro and its Chinese version. It is likely, however, that MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9200 chipset could be powering the two smartphones, as 91Mobiles mentions.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra expected to launch this month

As we wait for more info on the Xiaomi 13T Pro to arrive, fans are anticipating the arrival of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra this month. Among the notable highlights of the new flagship is a combination of four rear cameras, comprising a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary sensor plus three 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensors, handling ultrawide, telephoto and periscope duties. A 32-megapixel camera is expected to feature on the front.

Rumours also claim the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will pack a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ E6 AMOLED LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 1TB of storage, 16GB of RAM, and a 4,900mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging support built in.

Since this is a high-end offering, Xiaomi is rumoured to sell the Xiaomi 13 Ultra with back panels made of special materials such as ceramic and leather. Android 13 should be the operating system of choice with Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 software overlay.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra rumoured global availability

While the next Xiaomi flagship will debut in China sometime this month, it may take until Q3 or Q4 this year for the device to make its way to global markets.
