Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo X Flip full specifications, official renders emerge before launch

Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip specifications have been revealed in a new report by 91mobiles. In addition, the official renders of both products, revealing their designs and colour variants, have also surfaced. The Vivo X Fold 2 will be the third foldable phone from the brand after the Vivo X Fold and X Fold+ that were unveiled last year.

The Vivo X Fold-series includes smartphones that can be folded and unfolded horizontally. The Vivo X Flip, on the other hand, is a vertically foldable phone from the brand. Here is all the information on the specifications of both devices.

Vivo X Fold 2 specifications (rumoured)

The Vivo X Fold 2 features an 8.03-inch foldable E6 AMOLED screen that offers a resolution of 2,160 x 1,916 pixels, a 4:3.5 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 360 ppi pixel density On the outside, the X Fold 2 has a 6.53-inch E6 AMOLED cover display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2,520 x 1,080 pixels, 420 ppi pixel density, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both displays will have an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the Vivo X Fold 2. The device will come with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB / 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will be backed by a 4,800mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

On the front, the X Fold 2 will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will feature another 16-megapixel camera on the cover screen. On the back, the X Fold 2 features a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel portrait lens. It will measure 161.3 x 73.4 x 13mm (6.6.7mm when unfolded) and weigh around 280 grams. As can be seen in the renderings above, the X Fold 2 will be available in black, blue, and red shades.

Vivo X Flip specifications (rumoured)

The Vivo X Flip will be equipped with a 6.74-inch E6 AMOLED screen that offers an FHD+ resolution of 2,520 x 1,080 pixels, a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The X Flip will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus gen 1 chipset, 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a 4,400mAh battery with 44W rapid charging. It will arrive with 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the front, the Vivo X Flip will have a 32-megapixel front camera. The back panel of the device has a 32-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Both phones will have Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3.0 on top. It will arrive in black, gold, and purple colours.
