The Pixel 7a will get unveiled on May 10 during Google’s I/O 2023 event. However, the company has already confirmed that the device will arrive on May 11 in India. It will be available on Flipkart.

In terms of design, the Pixel 7a will follow the same aesthetics as its last year’s flagship Pixel 7. The smartphone will have USB Type-C and dual speakers at the bottom. It will have a dual camera setup with a flash at the back, a volume rocker, and a power button on the left. The right side of the device will only house the sim tray. It is expected to arrive in four colour options: Charcoal, Snow (white), Sea (blue), and Coral.

According to the latest rumours and leaks, the forthcoming Pixel 7a is expected to showcase a 6.1-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is predicted to be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset, accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is rumoured to boast a primary camera sensor of 64MP with OIS support, in addition to a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, while the front-facing camera is speculated to be 10.8MP. The phone’s battery is anticipated to have a capacity of 4,400mAh, and it may offer support for wireless charging at up to 20W.

Google Pixel 7a Expected Price

The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant was recently spotted on the eBay website with a $449 (Roughly Rs 36,000) price tag. In India, the smartphone is expected to cost around Rs 40,000.
