The Malayalam language movie Neymar will be available on Disney+ Hotstar on a subscription video-on-demand basis. It will arrive on the OTT platform on August 8, 2023. It will stream in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil audio formats.

Saregama Malayalam shared the trailer of Neymar on YouTube two months ago. So far, it has garnered over 1.6 million views and 49K likes. The movie was shot in Pondicherry/ Puducherry.  The motion poster of Ney was released in January 2023.

Mathew Thomas, Naslen K. Gafoor, Johny Antony, Shammi Thilakan, Vijayaraghavan, and Reshmi Boban star in the movie. Sajin Gopu has made a cameo appearance in the film. Sudhi Maddison is the director, and Padma Uday is the producer of Neymar.

Neymar Storyline

Kunjava’s best friend Sinto suggests that he get a pet dog to attract the attention of his classmate Dona. After an indie puppy named Neymar enters the life of Brazilian football fanatics, nothing is the same as it was before. Kunjava gets rid of the pet dog when it starts to cause trouble. Kunjava (Mathew Thomas) and Sinto (Naslen K. Gafoor) couldn’t abandon their adorable buddy and thus set out to save Neymar.

Neymar Reviews and IMDb Rating 

The movie has bagged mixed reviews from the audience. According to The Hindu, Neymar Sudhi Maddison’s directorial debut is a breezy watch despite having cliched moments. Even IMDb users were not over pleased with the movie and have awarded a rating of 6.5/10.
