Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra have been spotted with respective model numbers SM-S926 and SM-S928 at the TUV certification. These listings have revealed the battery capacities of both smartphones. In addition, the Galaxy S24 Plus has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
The upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform is what powers the Galaxy S24+, according to the Geekbench listing. The listing has revealed the specifications of the SD8G3 in detail for the first time. These details have emerged well ahead of the Galaxy S24 series’ launch, which is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2024. Samsung Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra TUV certification
As per the TUV certification, the Galaxy S24 Plus has a 4,755mAh (rated value) battery with an EB-BS926ABY model number. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s TUV listing reveals a slightly bigger 4,855mAh rated value battery with an EB-BS928ABY identifier.
These listings indicate that the Galaxy S24+ could be packed with a 5,000mAh (typical value) battery, whereas the Ultra variant may comprise a 5,100mAh (typical value) battery. A recent report claimed that the S24+ may offer 45W charging, whereas the S24 Ultra may support 65W charging.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus Geekbench listing
The Galaxy S24 Plus has appeared with the model code SM-S926U on Geekbench 6 with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Although the listing doesn’t explicitly name the chipset, it provides a detailed configuration, including a primary core clocked at 3.3GHz, three additional cores running at 3.15GHz, two cores operating at 2.96GHz, and two more cores at 2.27GHz. The source code of the listing reveals that the SD8G3 is equipped with the Adreno 750 GPU.
It appears that sibling phones, such as the Galaxy S24 and S24 Ultra, will also be equipped with the same chip. However, it is speculated that Samsung may offer Exynos 2400 chip variants of the S24 series in some markets.
The Geekbench listing of the S24+ further reveals that it has 8GB of RAM and Android 14. In the single-core test of Geekbench 6, the device scored 2233 points, and it recorded a score of 6661 points in the multi-core test.
