We saw the Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch just six months back, and the market is already flooded with leaks about the Galaxy S24 series. Among the latest leaks capturing attention is the mention of a titanium chassis and enhanced camera features for the rumoured Galaxy S24 Ultra. We are now hearing more about the upgrades done to the Galaxy S24 and S24+ models.

Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ to get a new look

Traditionally, Samsung has adhered to a consistent blueprint for its flagship smartphone range, characterized by its sleek, curved form reminiscent of a polished pebble. Nonetheless, reputable sources like Ice Universe are hinting at a departure from this design, with the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models making a shift towards flat-edged frames.

This perspective shift to a flat frame would mark a departure for Samsung, a move that has already been observed in Apple’s iPhone series for a considerable time. The rationale behind this deviation from the curved-edge design is for Samsung to set its vanilla models apart from the competition, allowing them to directly compete with the yet-to-launch iPhone 15 series.

Curiously, the leak does not clarify whether the Galaxy S24 Ultra will also follow suit with this design change or if Samsung will maintain its present design. What has been confirmed, however, is that the Ultra variant is set to receive notable upgrades, including a titanium middle frame, a new 50MP telephoto camera, and a choice between the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the Exynos 2400 chipset dependent on the region.
