WhatsApp has been working on adding new features back to back recently. It recently added the ability to send images without losing quality, a new AI sticker generator, and more. It has also been caught testing new text formatting tools and a new transfer chats interface. Now, WhatsApp has officially unveiled a new feature that lets you start a WhatsApp group without naming it.

Mark Zuckerberg announced this new feature via the official Meta Channel. He said, “Making it simpler to start WhatsApp groups by naming them based on who’s in the chat when you don’t feel like coming up with another name.”

As seen from the screenshot above, if there are two persons in the group chat, the new group name will be the name of the two people.

If you create groups for everything on WhatsApp for communication, WhatsApp makes it easier for you by not requiring you to create a new, unique name for the group every time.
