Nangal Famous Storyline

Mahesh (Sumanth Prabhas), Durga (Mani Aegurla), and Balakrishna (Mourya Nalagatla), three close friends in their mid-20s from a village in Bandanarsampalli, live aimlessly and lack ambition. The realisation hits when everyone in the town has had enough of them and begins to view them as a shameless lot, and they then resolve to take actual action. They start a tent home business and make it successful with the aid of a local leader, Jinka Venu (Kiran Macha), Mahesh’s love interest, Mounika (Saarya Laxman), Balakrishna’s girlfriend, Bubby (Siri Raasi), and Durga’s father. But they face unforeseen difficulties in life. These three buddies triumph over death and achieve fame in the story’s climax.

Mem Famous Reviews and IMDb Rating

The original film Mem Famous received mixed reviews. According to The Hindu, “Newcomers led by Sumanth Prabhas get the carefree rural Telangana vibe right in the Telugu film ‘Mem Famous’, which shines in a few segments but falls short of being a roller coaster fun ride” 123Telugu gave the film 2.75 out of 5 stars. Reviewing the film, they wrote, “Mem Famous is a partly engaging youthful drama. Sumanth Prabhas and all the cast did extremely well, and there are some genuinely good moments in the film. But the second half fails to carry the momentum, and thus the film ends up being just an okay watch this week.” On IMDb, Mem Famous has a rating of 7.2/10, as voted by ‎3,421 users.
