The world of true wireless earbuds is a crowded one, with a plethora of options vying for your attention. One recent entrant into this arena is the CMF Buds Pro, a creation of Nothing, a sub-brand that’s been making waves in the tech industry. Sporting a striking design and a promise of impressive audio quality, the CMF Buds Pro caught my attention, and after putting them through their paces, I’m ready to share my thoughts on this new offering.

Design and Build Quality

Let’s start with the aesthetics. The CMF Buds Pro come in three enticing color options – Dark Grey, Light Grey, and a vibrant Orange. The unit I had for review was in the captivating orange hue, and it’s safe to say that they do look cool. The matte finish not only adds a premium touch to the device but also keeps those pesky smudges at bay. The buds and their charging case boast a minimal design that I found quite appealing. While the build quality is decent and feels sturdy, it may not be the most solid out there.

Comfort and Fit

One of the standout features of the CMF Buds Pro is the exceptional comfort they offer. Even during extended usage or outdoor runs, they sat snugly in my ears, refusing to budge. In terms of comfort, I would gladly give these earbuds full marks.

Audio Quality

The hallmark of any good pair of earbuds is the sound quality, and here, the CMF Buds Pro truly shine. The Dynamic Bass Boost Driver ensures that the sound quality is, in a word, impressive. If you handed these earbuds to someone without revealing the price, they would undoubtedly assume that these are premium TWS. The audio profile strikes a perfect balance, avoiding the extremes of overwhelming bass or a lack thereof, which is often seen in budget-friendly alternatives.

Noise Cancellation

The CMF Buds Pro feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation that impressively reaches up to 45 dB. While it may not compete with the top-tier ANC headphones on the market, it does a commendable job at this price point. It successfully drowns out much of the ambient noise, allowing for an immersive listening experience.

Battery Life

The battery life of the CMF Buds Pro, though not groundbreaking, is commendable. With ANC activated, they offer up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge, and the charging case extends that to a total of 39 hours. Furthermore, fast charging support provides 5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. During my usage, I managed to get around 4 days of juice on a single charge with moderate use, including listening to music during workouts and taking day-to-day work calls.

Call Quality and Connectivity

The calling experience with these earbuds is quite satisfactory. Callers came through clearly, and I didn’t face any connectivity issues while using them with multiple devices. However, it’s worth noting that the CMF Buds Pro do not support multi-device connectivity, which could be a minor inconvenience for some users.

Price

It comes in three colour options: Dark Grey, Light Grey, Orange and costs Rs 3,499

Conclusion

In conclusion, the CMF Buds Pro by Nothing present a compelling package. Their standout features include a striking design, superb comfort, and impressive sound quality that defies their price point. The ANC is respectable, and the battery life, while not the absolute best, should suffice for most users. If you’re on the lookout for stylish and sonorous true wireless earbuds without breaking the bank, the CMF Buds Pro should be on your radar. They make a strong case for the fusion of style and substance in the TWS world.
