Jimin’s solo journey and military enlistment plans
Park Jimin’s 2023 journey began with his solo album, “Face,” which instantly captivated listeners and critics alike. The album’s lead single, “Like Crazy,” made history by debuting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking the first solo No. 1 for any BTS member or K-pop idol. This achievement not only showcased Jimin’s incredible talent but also solidified his place in the global music scene.
Jimin’s musical prowess extends beyond the boundaries of K-pop, as seen in his collaboration with JVKE for “Angel 1” and “Angel 2.” These tracks, which were also beautifully rendered by Muni Long and Charlie Puth, showcased Jimin’s versatility and his ability to connect with a diverse range of artists and audiences.

The Like Crazy singer, like his fellow bandmates, is set to serve in the Korean military. While there is no set date announced for the same, the agency HYBE did mention that all remaining members, including Jimin, will be announcing their enlistment date before the end of 2023. As of date, Jin, J-Hope and Suga are already fulfilling their duty, while Jimin, RM, V and Jungkook are still to announce the date. The members are to finish their 18-month service and reconvene by 2025.
