OPPO Reno 11 series is officially confirmed to launch on November 23rd in China. The Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro will replace the Reno 10 and 10 Pro, which debuted with Snapdragon 778G Plus and Dimensity 8200 chipsets, respectively, in May of this year. The Reno 10 Pro+ came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. OPPO isn’t teasing the Reno 11 Pro+ variant yet, and reports have claimed that the brand has no plans to launch such a variant in the Reno 11 lineup.
Apart from revealing the launch date, the brand has also confirmed the design of the Reno 11 and 11 Pro by releasing their official renders. The images show that both phones have a nearly identical appearance with some differences in rear design. In addition, the Reno 11 Pro also seems to be equipped with a laser temperature sensor below its LED flash unit.
The Reno 11 will come in three options: Obsidian Black, Moonlight Gemstone (white), and Fluorite Blue. The Pro model will also come in the same black and white options as well as the Turquoise shade. At present, there is no information about the global launch of the Reno 11 series. As far as price is concerned, the Reno 11 series is expected to start at RMB 2,500 (~$345).
OPPO Reno 11, Reno 11 Pro specifications (rumored)
Last week, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked the key specifications of the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro. The vanilla model is said to feature an OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will have the Dimensity 8200 chip, which is likely to be accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The Reno 11 will have a 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. On the front, it will have a 32-megapixel camera, and on the back, it will have a 50-megapixel (LYT-600, with OS) + 8-megapixel (IMX355, ultra-wide) + 32-megapixel (telephoto, 2x zoom) triple camera unit.
The Reno 11 Pro, on the other hand, will have an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset will power the Reno 11 Pro along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It will draw power from a 4,800mAh battery that offers 80W charging. Except for a different 50-megapixel (IMX890 or LYT-700) primary camera, the rest of the cameras of the Reno 11 Pro are likely to be identical to the standard model.
Both phones will have a plastic frame and are expected to run on Android 14 with a layer of the latest ColorOS 14 on top. The Pro model is also expected to offer other features, such as dual speakers and an x-axis linear motor.
