Making the big reveal, he said, “If I sound a bit hyper, it’s because I just this morning delivered a Doctor Who script that will be on air in May 2025.” The statement more or less confirms that Doctor Who S15 will be released in May 2025. It will air on its original network, BBC One, and will be released internationally on Disney+.

Doctor Who Season 15 Development and Filming

The fifteenth series of the show will consist of a Christmas special followed by eight regular episodes, similar to the fourteenth series. Alex Pillai will direct the first block of episodes of the season, while Peter Hoar will head the second block.
