On December 7, 2023, Netflix released season 1 of Ali Novak’s Wattpad novel My Life With the Walter Boys. Jackie Howard is a 15-year-old Manhattanite whose life is turned upside down after she loses her parents and sister in an accident. As a result, she must move to Colorado with her guardian, Dr. Katherine Walter, who was her mother’s best friend at Columbia. With 10 episodes, My Life With the Walter Boys’ first season skyrocketed in popularity on the streamer and social media. With over 20 million views and counting, My Life With the Walter Boys has topped Netflix’s Global English Top 10 TV List within days of its premiere. Globally, it has reached the Top 10 in 88 countries.

My Life With The Walter Boys Season 2 – When Can You Watch It?

On December 19, 2023, Netflix announced that My Life With the Walter Boys had been renewed for a season 2. If you do the math, that’s only 12 days after it premiered. The first season of the series was filmed at a ranch in Calgary, Canada during 2022 spring and summer, so the second season will also likely be filmed there. 

However, since the filming for the second season hasn’t started yet, there is no definite release date as of now.

According to the press release for season 2 Netflix stated, “Pick a side when Netflix’s hit YS drama My Life With the Walter Boys returns for a second season.” So, we can hope for a lot more drama and fun on this emotional rollercoaster ride for season 2.
