POCO X6 Pro 5G could be coming with Dimensity 8300-Ultra as Poco X6 series teasers begin

Since the past few weeks, upcoming POCO X6 series phones, such as the POCO X6 Neo 5G, the POCO X6 5G, and the POCO X6 Pro 5G, have been spotted on different certification platforms. Now, the brand has officially started teasing the arrival of the Poco X6 series. In addition, its landing page is now live on Flipkart. Hence, it appears that the X6 series will be announced in January 2024.

The above teaser shows that one of the upcoming Poco X6-series will feature the Dimensity 8300-Ultra. In fact, it will be India’s first smartphone to feature the same chipset. To recall, the Redmi K70e, which debuted in China in November, came equipped with the D8300-Ultra SoC. It is speculated that the K70e will be rebranded as the POCO X6 Pro 5G in markets outside of China.

According to reports, the POCO X6 Pro 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch OLED panel that produces a 1.5K resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits of brightness, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to run on Android 15 and MIUI 14 for POCO.

Under the hood, the POCO X6 Pro 5G will feature the Dimensity 8300-Ultra, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 90W charging. It will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system.

The POCO X6 Neo 5G is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro available in the Chinese market. Hence, it is expected to come with a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ 120hz display, a Dimensity 6080 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, 108-megapixel dual rear cameras, and a 16-megapixel front camera.

The POCO X6 5G is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, with one major difference. While the Redmi phone has a 200-megapixel main camera, the POCO phone is said to be equipped with a 64-megapixel camera. As far as other specs are concerned, the X6 is expected to come with a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system.
