The Tecno Phantom V Fold debuted in February last year through the Mobile World Congress (WMC) 2023 tech trade show. A new device bearing the AE10 model number has surfaced on Geekbench. It appears to be the upcoming Phantom V2 Fold, as the predecessor model had the AD10 model number. Before reading ahead, readers should know that the Phantom V2 Fold has not been confirmed yet. However, the moniker was spotted in the IMEI database along with the AE10 model number in November last year.

The CPU and GPU information available in the Geekbench listing of the Phantom V2 Fold reveals that it will be equipped with the same Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset that powers the original Phantom V Fold. The listing further states that the device has 12GB of RAM and Android 14. In the single-core and multi-core tests, the device recorded 1273 and 3844 points, respectively.

The Phantom V2 Fold’s other specifications are yet to be revealed. With the chipset and RAM going to be the same as the predecessor, it appears that the V2 Fold may come with some upgrades in departments like display, battery size, and cameras.

Priced at Rs 69,999 on Amazon, the Phantom V Fold is the most affordable foldable phone available in India. The device is equipped with a 6.42-inch cover AMOLED LTPO panel that offers an FHD+ resolution, whereas on the inside, it is equipped with a 7.85-inch foldable screen that produces a resolution of 2,000 x 2,296 pixels. Both displays support up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

The D9000+-powered Phantom V Fold ships with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB / 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The device comes preloaded with HiOS-based Android 13 and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The rear camera setup of the V Fold comprises an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 16-megapixel camera on the inner side.
