The above images showcase the Phone (2a)’s front with a punch-hole display. Unfortunately, the case obscures the bezel’s thinness and the phone’s side profile. While the rear shell remains hidden, it reveals a dual horizontal camera setup with LED flash. The rumour mill has already leaked a lot of details about the Phone (2a). Here is a look at what to expect from the device.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is said to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The display punch-hole is likely to house a Sony IMX615 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The rear-facing camera setup may comprise a Samsung S5KGN9 50-megapixel main camera and a Samsung S5KJN1 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The back panel of the phone is expected to sport a redesigned three-part glyph interface. It is expected to run on Android 14 with a layer of the latest Nothing OS 2.5 on top.

The Nothing Phone (2a) may house a 4,920mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It is expected to arrive in two options, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Lastly, the device will be equipped with the Dimensity 7200, which is the same chip that powers the likes of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and the Vivo V27 5G.

A dedicated landing page for the Nothing Phone (2a) is now live on Flipkart. The page does not specify a launch date or key features, but only states that it is “coming soon.” It is speculated that the Phone (2a) may get showcased at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2024 tech trade show later this month. As far as price is concerned, the Phone (2a) is likely to be priced at around Rs 25,000 in India. In Europe, the device is likely to be priced at €400 (~Rs 36,000) for the base model.
