Nothing Phone (2a) India launch date has been officially confirmed. The brand revealed that it will hold a launch event at 5pm on March 3rd, 2024. At the same time, the brand will announce the mid-range phone for the global market.

The Phone (2a) will be the third smartphone from the brand after the Snapdragon 778G-powered Phone (1), which went official in 2022, and the Phone (2) that came equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip last year. While the company has confirmed the launch date, it is yet to reveal any of its specifications. Here is a look at the Phone (2a) specifications that have been leaked by the rumour mill so far.

According to reports, the Nothing Phone (2a) will arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, it is likely to feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 selfie camera.

The back panel of the device is said to feature a round camera island featuring two horizontally arranged cameras. It is said to be equipped with a Samsung GN9 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a Samsung JN1 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Its rear shell is also expected to feature a redesigned three-part glyph interface.

The Phone (2a) is likely to feature the Dimensity 7200 chipset, a 4,920mAh battery, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage. The phone is likely to support 45W fast charging and run on Nothing OS 2.5-based Android 14. The Phone (2a) is also expected to come with other features, such as an in-display fingerprint scanner and a pair of speakers for stereo output.

At present, there is no information about the price of the Nothing Phone (2a) for the Indian market. In Europe, the device may arrive in two options, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, having a starting price of €400 (~Rs 35,600). It is expected to arrive in black and white colour options. In India, the device will be sold through Flipkart.
