iPhone 15 Pro Max is likely to sport the slimmest bezels seen on a smartphone. According to tipster Ice Universe, the iPhone 15 Pro will break the record for the world’s thinnest bezels, surpassing competitors such as the Xiaomi 13 and Samsung Galaxy S23, which have 1.81mm and 1.95mm bezels, respectively.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max in September this year. Some reports have claimed that the Pro Max variant may get dubbed the iPhone 15 Ultra because of the advanced features that it will be arriving with. Now that the Pro Max / Ultra model is tipped to feature the thinnest bezels, it appears that it will boast a high screen-to-body ratio.

The leak reveals that the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s bezels will measure only 1.55mm. It is speculated that the upcoming Pro Max model will have a 6.7-inch OLED display, like the iPhone 14 Pro Max. A leaked video that surfaced earlier this month gave a good look at the display panels for the iPhone 15 series. It revealed that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will sport the slimmest bezels ever seen on an Apple smartphone.

According to reports, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch OLED LTPO panel with support for Dynamic Island. The 3nm Apple A17 Bionic chipset will power the device. Its leaked CAD renders have revealed that it will have solid-state capacitive buttons for the volume controller and power key.

There is no word on the battery size of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, it is said to feature a USB Type-C port, which may support USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3 technology, for faster transfer speeds. It is speculated that the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s triple camera unit will be equipped with a periscope zoom camera with 6x optical zoom.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is likely to come equipped with a titanium chassis with a thickness of 8.25mm. The A17-powered device is expected to come equipped with other features, such as 8GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 6E, and better haptics.
