iQOO Pad design, key specifications officially confirmed before May 23rd launch

iQOO Pad launch date and key specifications have been officially confirmed. iQOO will be launching the iQOO Neo 8 and the Neo 8 Pro on May 23rd, 2023, in China. The same event will see the arrival of the iQOO Pad, the company’s first-ever tablet.

Ahead of the launch, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Pad will feature a high refresh rate display, a flagship-level chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage. Here is all the information that is known about the iQOO Pad tablet.

iQOO Pad key specifications

The iQOO Pad will come equipped with a 12.1-inch LCD panel that produces a 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The tablet will offer a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. In addition, it supports HDR10 and with chip-level blue light control, this tablet reduces harmful blue light emissions, allowing for longer, more comfortable viewing sessions.

The iQOO Pad will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet is now listed on JD.com for reservations in China. It reveals that the tablet will arrive in four options, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.

Other reports have claimed that the iQOO Pad will house a 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It will come preinstalled with the Android 13 OS and OriginOS 3. Currently, there is no information on the cameras of the device.

The iQOO Pad will compete with the likes of the OPPO Pad 2, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, the Vivo Pad 2, and the ZTE Axon Pad 5G. At present, it is unclear whether the iQOO Pad will be released in India.
