iQOO Z8, iQOO Z8x full specifications, AnTuTu listing emerge before September launch

iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x full specifications have been leaked by a Chinese tipster. In addition, the Z8 has also appeared in the database of the AnTuTu benchmarking site. Both smartphones have previously been on Geekbench with key details like chipset, RAM, and Android version The Z8 series is expected to launch in China in early September. In the home market, the Z8 will compete with the Redmi Note 12T Pro, which features the Dimensity 8200 chipset.

The Z8 series is completely different from the Dimensity 7200-powered iQOO Z7 Pro 5G, which is scheduled to launch on August 31st, 2023. Here is a look at the specifications of the iQOO Z8 and Z8x.

The iQOO Z8 and Z8x will arrive with a 6.64-inch flat LCD panel with a punch-hole design. The screen will support a Full HD+ resolution of 2,388 x 1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The phone runs on Android 13, which will have a layer of OriginOS 3.0 on top.

The Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipsets will power the iQOO Z8 and Z8x, respectively. The AnTuTu listing of the Z8 reveals that the device will be equipped with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 storage. It will offer up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. As can be seen in the AnTuTu listing, the Z8 has managed to record an impressive score of 972,222 points on AnTuTu.

On the other hand, the iQOO Z8x will be equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The device is expected to offer up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It may arrive with a 6,000mAh battery and 44W fast charging. Both smartphones are said to be equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack.

For selfies, the iQOO Z8 and Z8x will have a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel front camera, respectively. Both phones will be equipped with a dual-camera system on the back. While the Z8 will feature an OIS-assisted 64-megapixel main camera, the Z8x will have a 50-megapixel primary camera. Both phones will also have a 2-megapixel depth sensor.  The Z8 is said to arrive in black, blue, and green shades, the Z8x may arrive in the same colour options.
